Option to share system content with external users—creating public links to assets. Setting link access level and its lifetime. Option to create direct links to the original asset file.
The system is delivered based on the SaaS model in three versions: Basic, Advanced, and Maximum.
Option for the administrator to initiate the creation of a new tenant, enable, and disable it, as well as edit its properties through the admin panel.
Support for the Mail.Vision service. When importing an asset, Picvario can automatically send it for face recognition or do it manually using the Recognition function.
The system engineer can enable/disable face recognition for a Picvario installation.
The administrator of the recognition service can view the persons' files without going to the list, as well as give names to recognized persons and send their data to Picvario.
The system permanently removes deleted assets when the retention period expires.
The system administrator can delete a tenant.
Changes in export of assets. When exported, the files will now have a name based on the UUID in the Picvario system. Also, multiple files in the same asset will share the same UUID but will have a different file number.
A help center icon is added making it possible for you to contact support via email or use the Help Portal.
The user can initiate the password recovery procedure via email.
Asset import has been improved. Now, when you import assets via FTP, folder names become tags under the imported assets.
When importing through the UI, the system combines assets into a collection based on the common name. An asset that has the same name as a previously created (existing) collection automatically becomes part of that collection.
The Image Collector administrator can set the encoding for the ftp-server.
The user can create a link that makes it possible to view and download a file/collection regardless of permissions. The file is non-editable, and the link becomes invalid at the specified time.
The system logs the actions of Picvario users. The administrator can view the reports generated by the logs through the Grafana service. Old data is automatically deleted after a period specified by the administrator.
Open ID support is added. Users can now log in through a third-party service. The third-party service is configured by the System Engineer. By default, authorization is performed via email.
The system engineer can enable forced authorization of users when they log in to the site, thereby limiting access to the site for anonymous users.
An option is added to disable the Help Center icon.
The administrator can upload an image for a favicon.
Improved face recognition system. The administrator can now manually create a person, merge duplicate persons in the event of false recognition of a unique person, as well as delete a person.
The data of interaction with the persons is logged and displayed through the Grafana service.
The administrator can create a master group where all new users will be included.
The asset feed appearance has been redesigned.
Users can log in to Picvario using their G-suite account.
Search and filtering have been improved:
- When searching, Russian letters "е", "ё" are considered at the same time;
- The user can use wildcard operators when searching (? and *);
- Options for search by properties have been extended. The search system uses the values of the text fields in the search.
A new property type—List— was added to the system. The administrator can create List type properties by specifying this type in the Data type field of the Prop object in the admin panel.
The administrator can create Date and Time type properties. The user can use this property when sorting assets, sorting them by date of import or by date of creation.
Now a "stub" with the file extension will be displayed if no preview can be generated.
The user can terminate the import at any time and cancel the loading of unnecessary assets.
The system displays the name of the file whose import failed.
Search and filtering have been improved:
- The user can set a search condition using Boolean logic in the search query;
- Filtering by file format has been added;
- Filtering using controlled lists.
Changes in bulk asset processing:
- The system displays the tag use number in bulk selection;
- Bulk file downloads now generate a zip archive;
- During bulk selection, you no longer have to wait for the merged properties to load. This happens asynchronously. A spinner appears in the header of the property section. You can work with the system immediately after selecting assets.
It is now possible to fill in the properties of the asset when importing.
We have added the option to customize the site page header, browser tabs, and displaying the links that messengers and social networks use.
English system language has been added.
Support for PDF files has been added.
- The administrator has access to all collections, including archived collections,
- In Analytics, the chart shows the number of imported assets, not the number of imports made,
- A new event "Forced import completion" is sent to the event history log of the analytics.
We have added the option to create and use Property templates that allow the user to quickly and conveniently fill in the properties of the asset with predefined settings.
It is now possible to create a Home page. Display your main collections on the home page for an impressive presentation and/or easy access.
Picvario now supports audio files so that the user can listen to them when in the system.
Now, the user can now switch the language directly via the interface.
Similar to asset links, an authenticated user can now link to existing collections.
The asset thumbnail now displays the file format.
The collection thumbnail displays the number of incoming assets, as well as its status.
The system now remembers the state of the asynchronous loading of the right pane sections, and you do not have to reopen Properties each time.
Bulk operations on collections are supported:
- selection of several collections;
- batch deletion;
- entering metadata for several selected collections at once.
New sort options in the Asset feed and on the Collections page have been added:
- For assets: the choice of sorting direction—from earlier to later and vice versa;
- For collections: by creation date and by download date of the title asset.
You can now create direct links.
The administrator can rerun the automatic filling of a property based on the current property template for all assets of the tenant.
Integration with S3 object storages has been added.
