If you are just getting started with Picvario, this guide will help give you an overview of the system's basic components and start using it sooner.
The system's main components are the asset list (1), the navigation bar (2), and the sidebar for properties and actions (3).
The main component for handling assets is the asset list. It displays all the digital assets available for viewing—images and video files.
Click on an asset to open a detailed view, as well as its title (1), description (2), and tags (3).
Click Download to download the asset to your device. Note that anonymous users can only download the asset in preview format, i.e. in compressed format.
Use the block at the top of the page to navigate the system.

To go back to the asset list page in its original form, click the logo icon in the top left corner.
- Search field
Use this field to search and filter assets by their properties. To search, enter a value in the field and click or press Enter.
To filter assets, click to open the filter panel.
- Login button
Authenticated users have access to more options in the system. Click Login to go to the login page.
After you login, two icons will become available in the navigation block: the profile icon and the task icon .
Click on the profile icon to open the user panel. The panel displays the name of the user who logged in and a button to log out of the account.
Click the task icon to open the task list. The list shows the last 5 tasks you ran and their status.
Assets in the system can be combined into groups. A group of assets is called a collection. To view the list of collections, click Collections in the navigation box. To see the contents of the collection, double-click it.
Properties and Actions panel
The Properties and Actions panel is displayed to the right of the list of assets.
You can also import files into the system using the Import button and select a specific number of assets together by clicking Select All. To deselect, click in the asset selection panel that appears at the bottom.
You can see the properties and available actions for each asset in the system. To do this, click on any asset in the list. A list of tabs appears in the panel on the right. Anonymous users can only view the public properties of the asset.
Click the Properties tab to open the properties of the asset. The properties in the system are divided into groups. Click on the group name to expand the detailed list of properties included in it.
Click the Workflows tab to open the list of available workflows. You can select a workflow and start it by clicking Run.
Click the Export tab to open a list of available asset export methods. You can select an export method and run it by clicking the button on the right.
